Premiership force face potential spooners - is an upset brewing?

Melbourne have confirmed Richie Kennar to start on the wing in place of the suspended Marika Koroibete. Ben Hampton drops to the bench with Tohu Harris playing at centre; Felise Kaufusi is starting in place of Harris in the second row; while Nelson Asofa-Solomona replaces Christian Welch on the bench.

Newcastle meanwhile have Akuila Uate back on the wing with Cory Dennis demoted to Holden Cup. Danny Levi will start for Tyler Randell as per the last fortnight, while Korbin Sims and Robbie Rochow switch between front and second row. Lachlan Fitzgibbon drops off the bench with Jack Stockwell to come in for him.
