Mitchell makes a half break and offloads back infield, but the pass is intercepted by the cover defence.

DWZ's left eye is closed. Cronk is finally back on his feet. DWZ is coming off the field, looks like an accidental knee from a team mate has cause DWZ's face to headbutt Taukieaho's head.

SCRUM ROOSTERS - Foran runs onto a pass from Hopoate and into a big gap, but the pass is ruled forward.
A Bulldogs offload goes to ground and the Roosters eventually clean it up.
SCRUM BULLDOGS - Hopoate offloads and the ball goes to ground. Radley dives on it and in the process of claiming possession he knocked the ball on. Dogs with the scrum 20m from the Roosters line
PENALTY BULLDOGS - Roosters holding down too long in the tackle. They find touch 10m inside the Roosters half.
Mitchell converts from wide on the right side.
Cronk kick on the last, Tupou takes it cleanly, keeps the ball alive with a flick pass out the back to Hutchison, who reaches out in the tackle and just gets the ball down for a try.
Back underway and the Roosters kick-off
At halftime, Foran is limping off, and Cordner is still engaged in discourse with referee Cecchin.
Foran takes on the line, looking for a runner, none was there and as he's flung around he tries to score, but the cover tackle from Manu knocks the ball loose.
PENALTY BULLDOGS - Cordner spills the ball as he is trying to get to his feet. He then yells at the ref and gets penalised. DOgs on the attack, 20m from the ROosters line.
Manu bravely falls on a grubber in traffic. Bulldogs playing with some spark now.
Meaney converts.
The Bulldogs get a try out of nowhere. A kick on the last to the left side is regathered, they put it through the hands, Foran held up a pass for Hopoate, who threw a dummy and squeezed over through the defenders to score in the right corner.
Mitchell converts. Things are starting to look ominous.
Tupouniua fresh on the field, runs onto a good ball from Butcher after he made a good break. Tupouniua barges over to score on the right side despite 3 defenders trying to halt him
Mitchell from out wide on the right side this time, and his conversion attempt is waved away
Manu on the right side gets around his defender and then he forces his way to the line despite two defenders, before just getting the ball down on the stripe.
Off to the Bunker to look at a Manu try. On field ref says No
SCRUM ROOSTERS - Foran takes a hit up, yes you read that right and he gets hit hard by Cordner, forcing the ball loose. Roosters now 20m from the Dogs line.
A Bulldogs bomb sails very close to the sideline. The Roosters defence let it bounce, before Manu cleans up in-goal and then runs back into the field of play despite pressure from Meaney.
Marshall-King breaks through from dummy half and runs 50m, dummies to his support and gets tackled. Then Tolman takes the next run but is tackled short of the line on the last.
SCRUM BULLDOGS - Cronk grubbers for touch and finds it 10m from the Bulldogs line.

PENALTY ROOSTERS - Bulldogs markers jumped early. Right in front of the posts and 20m from the Bulldogs line.
Mitchell from the left sideline, starts left and stays there.
A cross kick from Cronk goes up, Manu takes a good catch and gets a great ball away to Mitchell who sneaks down the sideline to score in the corner.
Marshall-King tries to barge over from dummy half but can't get the ball down. The next tackle the put in the grubber but it just trickles dead.
PENALTY BULLDOGS - Crichton gives another penalty away. Bulldogs 23m from the Roosters line.
Roosters defence are rushing up and putting on some big hits.
PENALTY BULLDOGS - Crichton made a woeful effort to get out of the ruck. Dogs find touch 10m shy of halfway.
