As the NRLW heads to New Zealand for the first time, the home side has been forced into a couple of changes, winger Madison Bartlett has been ruled out is replaced by Roela Radiniyavulu whilst Tanika Jazz-Noble drops off the bench. Onjerulina Leiataua comes straight into the starting side in jersey 24, Kathleen Wharton drops to the bench with Tyler Reid also added to the bench. 

The Dragons have their own string of changes, winger Stephanie Mooka is out of the game, Rikeya Horne takes her spot in jersey 19, five-eighth Kimiora Nati also misses the game through injury with Keeley Davis coming into the starting side. The Red 'V' also lost Teuila Fotu-Moala during the week after an unsuccessful trip to the judiciary. Ngatokotoru Arakua starts at prop with Najvada George and Aaliyah Fasavau-Fa'amausili added to the bench.
