The Clive Churchill Medallist's inclusion sees Nicho Hynes shift to five-eighth with Ryley Jacks dropping to the bench. Tyson Smoothy will start at hooker in a reshuffle that sees Kenny Bromwich shift to the second row and Tui Kamikamica drop to the bench. Chris Lewis is out of the team with Dean Ieremia remaining as 18th man.
