Welcome to Suncorp Stadium for the second match of Friday Night Football, with the Brisbane Broncos hosting the defending premiers, the Cronulla Sharks and an huge game on both sides Top 4 chances in 2017.
Brisbane just have the one late change, and as expected Sam Thaiday will start at hooker, with last week’s hat trick hero Ben Hunt again playing the super sub role from the bench.
Cronulla are 1-13, however have made a late change to the make up of their interchange, with Sam Tagatese coming into the 17 for Chris Heighington.
It is 3 vs 4, with the winner taking a huge step towards the finals with just a month to play in the regular season. These sides opened the 2017 season, with the Broncos upsetting the Sharkies at Shark Park 26-18 on that occasion. In Paul Gallen’s 300th first grade match, you can bet your bottom dollar that Cronulla will lift.
