Eight point lead inside the final five. It's not completely over but it's a long way back for the Tigers with very little time left.
Cronulla win! Ramien goes through from a handy pass and it's a 30m run where he shrugs off a couple of chasers to secure victory for his side!
A handy penalty for the Tigers to get them off their own line. Brooks hoofs it into touch and it's about 40m out where they'll start.
The momentum is now back with the Tigers... until Aloiai loses it in a tackle 10m from Cronulla's line. Sharks scrum.
Marsters wastes no time from in front and it's now only two the difference.

Chad Townsend is good to go from the touchline and it's a superb strike... but it misses.

Cronulla have really gone up a gear here as we approach the hour-mark at SCGS. They've forced a drop-out and there's a bit more defence for the visitors to do here.
Chad converts again and it's a four-point lead for the Sharkies now.
VAL! Another huge run for the electric fullback, superb ball from Gallen on his own 10m line and Val zips, weaves, breaks into the backfield and runs 90m untouched.

Moylan finds himself in space and gets it to Lee on the outside who's brought down. They straighten up the following play but the last tackle kick is pushed dead by the Tigers for a drop-out. Sharks will get one or two tackles in before the break.
Big two final minutes coming up before halftime, Wests Tigers with a penalty to get them up toward halfway and possibly an attacking opportunity if they find the right gap...
Gallen drops it trying for an offload and ends the set with an error. Poor stuff from the leader.

Another attacking foray for the Wests Tigers and they're getting plenty of ball near the Sharks line here. The rain had abated for a while but it's back now, and it's quite torrential.
Fairly easy third attempt of the day for Marsters and that puts the Wests Tigers eight points ahead.

Cronulla find themselves at the other end of the field suddenly and pick up a penalty, Townsend adds the two and it's all level again.

Some big changes ahead of your first Sunday NRL contest. The Sharks are as per program, but the Wests Tigers have gone for a lotto draw in terms of numbering. It all boils down to Malakai Watene Zelezniak being omitted along with Benji Marshall. Kevin Naiqama comes into the side and Pita Godinet joins the bench, with a series of other changes, most notable of which is Josh Reynolds to start at five-eighth and captain.
